J River Media Center and Jukebox Will not Recognize Ipod

J River Media Center and Jukebox Will not Recognize Ipod-when I click on Sync HandHeld I get a message No HandHeld Available. Redirecting devices does not solve the problem. Any suggestions welcome

what ipod do you have? not all are supported anymore
