"Monitoring" HDHome Run into JRiver
« on: April 13, 2011, 11:29:49 am »

Hello

As there is no "user guide" for HDhome run DVB T (or DVB C) maybe the "long time" user of it could tell me what are the different commands (by remote control)  into Home theatre view are avalaible in JRiver ?

how do you manages the 2 receivers ? do you have to scan channel for each receiver into JRiver or only for 1 ?
how to you watch 1 programm while recording annther programm ?

thanks for sharing your Silicondust experience

I can answer some of your questions.

Since there is only one set of DVB-T channels (and programs), you only need to scan for channels once, using either tuner.

Viewing one channel while recording another is managed automatically by MC.  MC will pick whichever tuner that is currently available for viewing and recording.  If you try to view the same channel that is being recorded, MC will use the same tuner.

It sounds to be a good management

Thank you for this info

Do you know if it is possible in theather view to select a channel differently than pressing directly on the channel number of the remote control ?
