Can't connect client to server [solved]
« on: April 29, 2011, 10:03:15 am »

I just upgraded to MC16 and am unable to connect my client PC to the server.

The same process works fine with MC15 which I have running now to make my system usable.

I thought perhaps the MC15 server was interefering with MC16 but I have confirmed it was closed when it was meant to be.

The set up process looks a little different. Is there soem new trick I'm missing?

Try generating an Access Key on the server and using it on the client.

What happens?  How far do you get?

Firewalls can prevent connections.

Thanks for your help gentlemen, problem solved.

Changing the Access Key did in fact work. But when I entered it, I misread a lower case 'l' as an upper case "I". It's sorted now.
