Hello,

I am pretty new here and i've changed from MEC (Microsoft) to MC16 because i've got to much problems with unknown stuff in my database.

I am importing my music files, all of them are wav, flac, wma etc... (all uncompressed) artist by artist, just to see if nothing's going wrong.

I've got a problem with some artists for example: Black Eyed Peas with 3 albums, two of them are in de the artist window as Black Eyed Peas and one as The Black Eyed Peas.

I've tried to changed it in the tagged window(left down) and also in the album information it shown as Black Eyed Peas but in the artist windows i've still got two icons: Black Eyed Peas and The Black Eyed Peas.

I have this problem also with other artists for example: Blof, Bløf or Blöf i've changed this to Bløf but i've found three different icons in the artist window.

Is there a solution for this issue?

Welcome to the forum. 

Try selecting all the Black Eyed Peas tracks at once, and then edit the Artist tag.

Hello,

I've tried to rename the tags but no luck, is there anything else i can try?

I have also uses a software Tag&Rename and if i look there the tags seems ok.

I have found the problem, the album artist was different between the albums.

Is there a way to edit the tag for the album artist in MC16, i don't see it in the tag window.

Use the Action window > Tag.

If not already there, either add the field Album Artist, or Show All Tags.
