How to merge 2 audio albums in 1
« on: May 12, 2011, 02:08:31 pm »

Bonjour,

I think merge is the correct word: I want a fusion of 2 albums.
Tell me where it is explained on this website.

Merci

MC thinks songs belong to the same album if they have the same album title and album artist.

You can use the Artist to assign a specific artist to a track.

If you're talking about a compilation, I generally change the song numbers to 10x, 20x, 30x etc to define which disc the track comes from, then change the CD name to ensure they're the same...

There is also a Disc # field that you can set to 1, 2, 3 as an alternative.  Either way, making the album name the same is key to getting it to display correctly as one album.
