I have MC15 and MC16 both as a media server(DLNA server) on the media PC.
Linn Akurate DS is the renderer (davaar updated).
I have about 60,000 flac files, over 4,000 albums in 2TB HDD.
Control point is notebook(kinsky desktop) and ipod touch(plugplayer).

MC15 is working very fast and nicely by folder structure view.
But MC16 is working very slow when entering the folder that has large number of files.
At that time MC16 spend 100% of CPU resource.
When entering into over 400 file folder, it takes several minutes to display result on kinsky or plugplayer.
When I tested MC16 with about 400 files, MC16 works fast and fine.
So, I guess there is some problem with handling of very big library, especially folder structure view.

MC15 has no problem.
Any idea for this case?

Perhaps this is a problem related to displaying artwork?
The 100% CPU usage sounds odd.
Are there any obvious differences you see between version 15 and 16 as to what's displayed on the Control Point?
In PP, artwork display in menus is pretty recent and can be turned off in it's preferences to see if that is part of the problem.

In PP, there is no option to turn off artwork.
There are no diffs between MC15 and MC16 on the control point display.
Are there any differencies of library handling between MC15 and MC16?

Check MC's settings for the server in both MC15 and MC16.  Something may be different.

Problem is cleared.
I added album into show categories in this order option in addition to location(root).
In show categories in this order box, there are two lines first location(root) followed by album.
After this DLNA server respond much faster.

And, I turned off artwork option in PP (I found this option at first page of ipod).
Then PP displays album list very fast just like MC15.
