how to stop sorting in content pane?
« on: June 10, 2011, 09:47:28 pm »

A little thing that's been bugging me a lot--I have my files sorted by Album first, then Track #. I accidentally clicked on "Name" and now it sorts it by Name too. How can I stop it from sorting by Name? I think I've probably done this before, but I don't remember... and the wiki page doesn't tell you how to remove sorting.

Use the pull-down in the tab, and find the Sort By sub-menu.

You can select (Default), which is the default for that view class (audio, video, image), or use a preset, or use a custom sort hierarchy.

Note in the example  image below that Name (a-z) is the only sort criteria, and it shows as sort key 1 in the Name column header.  This should help you see the correlation.
