CD write freeze

I have started experiencing freeze after between 5-10 of say 18 tracks. There is not a problem with room. The tracks are that are recorded are fine. The after doing upgrade to 8 the system doesn't freeze,but it stops writing after 5 of 16 tracks ,  no error message,

Go settings/options/device settigns/copy mode/ open the drop box and use digital unbuffered.

Do all the tracks play OK? Is the "generic driver" checkbox checked? Also, please post your system info here (from the Help/System info.. menu in MJ).
