My 24/96 files won't play thru my Musical Fidelity KW25 DAC.
I'm using a Halide Bridge USB / S/PDIF converter and my interface is J RIVER MC15.
J River plays the file, but the dac recognize the Halide Bridge output.
Am I correct in assuming that this dac is unable to to accept a 24/96 file ?
Is there a setting in MC15 to allow me to play these files ?
Would another USB / S/PDIF adapter solve the problem ?
If so, why ?

You might try DSP studio > output format.
Lower the bit depth to 16 and check
Lower the sample rate to e.g. 44.1 and check
