Using Theater View as "screen saver"
« on: June 27, 2011, 04:24:48 pm »

I would really like to be able to lock the computer running Media Server, but still have it display Theater View. The computer is used for playing music via Gizmo, and I want to prevent it from being tampered with - but I still want Theater View to show on the screen. Is there a way to do this?

bump  :)

Does anybody know if this is possible? If not with MC16 alone, then perhaps through Windows 7 in some way?

What do you mean by "lock the computer"?

No mouse and no keyboard should do it.  Tampering is tough without.

Very clever!  8)

It's not very practical in my case, however. What I would like, is to be able to lock the computer similar to cltr + alt + delete and lock computer, but with theater view showing instead of the Windows login. Any input from mouse or keyboard could then trigger the login window.
