MC 15 random crash
« on: June 28, 2011, 01:20:27 pm »

Hi.

On a windows seven 32 bits installation we get a "Media Center stopped working" (translated from french "media center a cessé de fonctionner) error almost every day.
We use MC only to play music, everything else is desabled. We use ASIO and it really do not look as a crash relative to the fact it plays music. As far as i know the crash can occur under normal view as under Theater view. We also desabled all shops, podcasts, etc etc only what is needed to play stereo wave files is in use.
We do not use third parties plug ins, do not use auto import feature and disabled all anti viruses activities that could interfere with MC. We are running the last version of MC 15.
The drivers for the video are the last available.
I see in the log a lot of lines relative to handheld even if none is in use.

The program worked perfectly before since months and suddenly some days ago began to crash. It can crash fast or run 10 hours without crashing
As far as i know the only modification are relative to some windows updates.
I spent time on the forum to read many crashes issues for MC 15, none of them seems to apply.
You will find below the first line and the end of the last log file where we see the crash.

Thanks for help.

We received this log from Audionec.  We replied earlier today.  This area may be the problem:

0000016: 2132: General: Launcher: Command Line: /MCC 22000,0
0605097: 1680: General: CMCUICore::SetMode: Start
0605097: 1680: General: CMCUICore::SetMode: Setting UI mode: 0
0605097: 1680: General: CMainUIWnd::SetMCView: Start
0605097: 1680: General: CMainUIWnd::SetMCView: View info name: Fichiers

Your MCC command (command line) is probably causing it.  Try disabling it.
