Diskwriter for DSP
« on: August 12, 2011, 04:53:44 pm »

I like to use the DSP to make mixes to CD. Is there a way to take a bunch of files of various formats and write a playlist, for example, to disk as one file with no gaps.

Currently, burning to a CD and ripping is not working as MC rips a cue file with gaps - maybe there is a setting to change that?

Have you tried the disk writer output (Options > Audio > Disk writer)?

It works with audio or video.

I have tested the Diskwriter in MC15 and it does not apply the DSP to achieve crossfades.

Will try 16 later tonight...

Very unfortunately, the final version of MC15 has a broken feature: it will not burn DSP crossfades to CD (and does not to Disk - by design?)

If these functions work in 16, my trial expired, I would try to allocate some funds for an upgrade.
