Web Remote Does not Use Smooth Track Transitions

Running the latest MC on Windows 7 (64) and using WASAPI Event Style. Started trying out the various media network features. Although Web Remote is a nice start for web control, I am hoping this will be developed further. However, my current concern is that track changes are abrupt when using the WR. I can go to the playing MC and switch tracks and all the smooth/faded transitions work fine (well not fine or all the time, but that's another post).

If the WR is imply controlling a playing MC, why does it not use the same fade/transition settings configured in the player?
