Steak With Mole Sauce, With Haricots Verts & Arroz Con Picadillo

One is a pan fried chopped chuck steak coated with mole sauce and the other is a pan fried sliced chuck steak with the mole sauce spooned over it.

the sliced then chopped steak I thought tasted better, and I think is more in keeping with how they make it in Mexico. I wanted to taste it on sliced steak to see how much of a difference it was.

I have to say the chopped steak was better due to the amount of mole sauce in it.

Tomorrow I will be testing Mole sauce on chicken.

I have to say for something I hated just because of the thought of chocolate in my main dishes actually did not sound pleasing.

This test has really changed my mind.

Your post brought a smile to my face, King.  Happy to hear of your good experience.

Maybe sometime you and your wife will get a chance to visit the southwest.  Arizona and New Mexico each have their own variations of Mexican cuisine.  Great flavors await!

Now, onto another continent... do you like Lobster, Curry, and Thai food?

I actually have been to the south west when I was in the army. I also spent 2 months at for bliss Texas for battle staff college.

the first time i had lobster I was 6 years old, and barfed so i never had lobster again till last year when i went home.

My sister owns a seafood restaurant with her daughter, and son in-law.

I asked her to bring up a bunch of sea food when she came to see me at my moms house.

so I sat down and had crab, lobster, clams, scallops etc...

I thought everything was OK, I liked the scallops more.

I was planning on making some Curry since I seen it on MasterChef Australia

I have had some Thai food and liked it, I have never made any my self but I am going too.

I am going to Fort Bragg on Friday to the hospital for medications, and plan on stopping into the commissary to see what they have there I can cook up.

If you're interested, PM me your email address, and I'll send you a fantastic Whole Lobster in a Sea of Curry (aka: Kaeng Panang Kung Mongkong) recipe.  It is too large to post here.  This is a recipe for only real cooks like you!

Thanks, Got it

Sue Said She Is Not Willing To Eat Lobster.

She Said She Will Try The Curry With Shrimp

I Am Still Thinking About Buying The Lobster And Just Make Two Dishes, One With Lobster And One With shrimp.

There Are A Few Things on There I Am Not Sure About, I large stalk "lemon grass", "Karfir lime leaves" And "shrimp paste", not something any store around here has.

I may need to improvise
