Volume Levelling for JRiver ID device
« on: September 02, 2011, 07:24:36 pm »

I'm finding the volume levels coming out of the ID qute low, at 100% it's certainly not driving my AMP anywhere near max volume!

I've found in the advanced settings if I set Conversion to "always" then I get a volume levelling option.

Enabling this volume levels, BUT it reduces the overall output level even more than having it off.

Is there any way of routing the ID via the DSP engine so we have the optoin of volume levelling  but also the ability to boost the levels and maybe even adding other DSP procesing as well??

Please, please??

Thanks
Richard

Yup me to (reported in this thread - http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=64390.msg444035#msg444035 along with Dshane)...sort of sounds like it only goes to abut "6" not "10" at the max.  Liked the other suggestions as well!
