can you do this test on your MC16
« on: September 11, 2011, 01:40:00 pm »

Bonjour,

Test: right click on a CD audio album=>click links=>click images=> choise a google  image and click on this image.....

Does a window appear with  possibility to directly place this image as cd cover art?

Thank you for your response.

Before with MC15,  it was possible to directly place this image as cd cover art with one click.

Cordialement.

If I set Images to open in an external browser (IE9) it doesn’t work
If I set Images to open inside the program or in a new tab it works

It doesn't work for me
@ Vincent - how do you make that change, I couldn't find the option you mentioned.

Also I should note that for some time now getting cover art from the internet in MC hasn't worked at all for me, I tried to find a solution here for awhile but eventually had to give up.

A simple way to add cover art is to select an image in your browser and copy it.
Go back to MC and right click on the cover art.
Choose Cover Art > Paste from clipboard.

You can change the behaviour of the links.
Right click on any link below the progress bar and  choose Manage Links

Bonjour,
question for MOJAVE: after click on the image, do you see appear a window who propose to you possibility to copy directly image as cover art?
Question for VINCENT: I understand you need to copy the image before place it as cover art (that's also what I do actually). You can't place it directly as cover art without copying. On MC15 it was possible.

Thank you at all for responses and thanks to continue for solution.

Excuse for my french school english !!!

Cordialement.

Below is what I get. Try pressing Ctrl while clicking an image and see if your choices appear again.

If it doesn't work, what language are you using for the Google pages?  What happens if you switch to English?

That would be pretty cool if it worked.  My default language is and always was english, so that is not my problem.  Clicking on an image, or ctrl+clicking only opens the webpage where the image is hosted.  Right clicking opens the standard windows right click menu.

Bonjour,

Perhaps manage links is not good.
Right click on cd album/links/manage links/images (and all other links)/action/open inside program/ok

Cordialement
