ssd drive filling up

hi, am having a problem with my pc, have a 60gb ssd for windows and two 2tb hard drives in raid 1, the problem i have is when i rip a cd with mc16 the free space in the ssd drive goes down , i cant seem to find a way  to stop this happening so after a series of rips my ssd drive is nearly full, also i cant find a way of importing the music in the backup drives to mc16 .i have just re installed windows 7 to try and sort out this problem but its no better any advice in simple terms as i am no expert would be grateful. cheers brian

In Tools/Options/File Locations, check your settings.  The Temporary Folders may be set to C:.
