HELP!

I have MJ7.2 and Windows ME. it is an internal dvd/cd-r/rw drive for a Fujitsu laptop. When i open cd writer settings in MJ a dialog box immediately comes up with "failed to initialize cd writer" then "cannot find cd writer". I can burn cd's using Adaptec Easy CD creator 4.0.  the model # is Matshi*a-UJDA710. (the * stands for "t")  i have tried MJ 8.0, goldenhawk.com, and fooled with the aspi and none of them helped.

It worked fine before my burner broke, but i had it replaced with the identical one and now MJ can't detect it.

If you email me, I can send you a small test program that might help troubleshoot. Also, please post your system info here (Help/System Info.. in MJ). When it was working previously, do you know if it was using the generic or the Goldenhawk driver when MJ was burning?
