Frame rate problem
« on: October 23, 2011, 04:20:38 am »

Hi,

Fps has suddenly gotten very bad. Have been playing MKV video files with no problem for a long time, and suddenly this problem. Have tried reinstalling JRriver (tried version 16.0.178 to make sure it wasn't a problem with 16.0.179), have tried to update my intel chipset driver, tried reinstalling sound card drivers. Nothing helps. Could it be a windows update that has messed up my frame rate?

When I detach the video display and make the window small, the fps goes back to normal, but as soon as I go back to theatre view it slows down again. Has anybody else experienced this?
I would highly appreciate any hint as to what this sudden problem could be!

regards

What FPS rate is shown in the Tag?
In Tools>Options>Video do you have the box checked for "Enable Automatic Display Settings Changing"?

Tag says 25 fps.
"Enable Automatic Display Settings Changing" not checked.
