Netflix will not play- newbie
« on: November 06, 2011, 01:02:29 pm »

I am trying to get Netflix to work on 16.0.181. When I go into Theater View I can select a movie to play but Netflix gets to 7% loaded and then tells me I have network issues. If I go to Firefox and play the movie there everything is fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try re-entering your information in Tools/Options/Services/Netflix.

Gave that a try, still same issue. Is there additional information I can provide? It seems like the system just uses the browser to connect so it is odd to me that it isn't working. Thanks for any additional advice you might have.

The Web Browser is set to Internet explorer by default in MC.. Did you try to play Netflix in IE? You can also set the browser to Chormium in MC...

Thanks everyone it appears that it was a browser issue. Changed the browser to Chromium and it started working.
