MC 17.0.26 won't recognize Grace m903
JimH:
Try not running foobar at all or uninstalling it. Just get MC going. WASAPI or WASAPI Exclusive should work.
This is not likely to be a beta problem. It's probably a configuration problem.
Rebooting might help.

I use the Grace m903 successfully with MC 16, but in order to do so I had to download the ASIO driver from Grace
http://gracedesign.com/products/m903/m903.htm (Grab the USB2 driver)
Then in MC
Player->Playback Options
Output mode: ASIO
Output settings: TUSBAudio ASIO Driver
If that doesn't work in MC17 then I won't be upgrading! :-\
Hope that helps.

Thanks Mark and Jim --
In an ideal world, I'd like to be able to keep Foobar on my computer and still use MC 17 for the features Foobar doesn't provide -- I just wouldn't have them both open at the same time.
I'd also rather stick with WASAPI.
So far, my experience with this release of MC 17 is that it seems to be unstable compared to Foobar.

I believe you're having problems with WASAPI Exclusive. That means that only one program can use WASAPI.
Matt:
ASIO is best, when there's a native driver:

So install the ASIO driver, set MC to ASIO, and enjoy.
