MC 17.0.26 won't recognize Grace m903
Matt:
"WASAPI - Event Style" is the best choice for USB DACs (unless the DAC manufacturer provides a native ASIO driver, in which case you should use ASIO).
Exclusive is an option inside either WASAPI mode. Try exclusive toggled both ways.

The m903 should be selected.
Did the device come with a driver?
Did you follow the manufacturer's instructions?
Davos:
Thanks Jim.
I made that change and selected the m903 but still no change.
The m903 did come with a driver, and the driver is being recognized.
I also have Foobar installed, and it's working fine through the m903 in WASAPI exclusive mode -- the LEDs on the m903 reflect different sample rates depending on the track.
JimH:
Turn off exclusive mode in foobar. Turn it on in MC. You can't have two programs using WASAPI exclusive.
Davos:
Thanks Jim.
I deleted the WASAPI plug-in for Foobar, and that got MC working again but only for a few hours. Now it's not playing through the m903 or the laptop speakers.
For the time being, I've reinstalled the Foobar WASAPI component and am using Foobar as my music player so I can have music at my desk.
Could this be a problem with the particular beta version I have?
Thanks for your help.
