Accessing recordings on Humax HDR Fox T2
« on: November 21, 2011, 04:13:46 pm »

I've set the Humax to share content and can see it under File > Library but when I select it I get a pop-up with this message:

"There was a problem retrieving from the selected DLNA server.
Please ensure that the server you are connecting to supports search, and that it is running properly.
Your library may be incomplete until you correct the problem and reload the library."

There aren't any other setting on the Humax that I'm aware of. Does anyone know if it's even possible to stream from the device and if so how to make it work?
I'm using Media Server 16.0.181 on XP SP3.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure I've read 'somewhere' about a custom firmware for the Humax boxes that allows it to act as a network drive with Samba, so you can access the data directly. So I assume therefore that you could load the files 'directly' into MCs library without the need for DLNA. Maybe Carnac would automatically get the show data and images in the same way as for Sage? Dunno... HTH......just something I remembered in passing.
