Basic transfer of information is not written

On importing new mp3's into the latest release of MC16 some of the information is not imported and must be redone and entered again just for MC16.

The information is there as window7 explorer and every other media program I have see the proper information. Publisher is a tab I have open by default but again the information is no longer imported into MC16. The problem wasn't there in MC14 or 15 but MC16 its a failure time after time. Any help
