RAW- JPEG conversion quality ?
« on: December 03, 2011, 08:57:16 am »

Hi folks.

I'm currently testing MC DLNA functionalities on my new Sony Bravia

I'm a bit confused about the RAW JPEG conversion quality configurations.

I've chosen 1080TV. It works. It converts my .nefs on-the-fly. That's great. Serviio didn't manage this.

Is 1080TV just the resolution format? Or is there (also) a quality level associated to it? Are you using any of the raw conversion settings (high, standard asf. ) from the images setup menu.

I know that my Sony eats chroma subsampled 4:2:2 data only. (That took me while to figure that out, when playing around with Serviio)  Are your RAW-JPEG conversion rules somewhat associated to those chroma subsampling levels?
