Deleting all photos
« on: December 03, 2011, 11:05:18 am »

I use my software only for  music. When my old PC died, I had to reload the program on a new PC. In doing so the software imported all my photo's, documents and video's. How does one remove ALL the documents, photo's or video's without having to do it one file at a time or removing the music files I want???

How does one prevent the software from doing it again??

In Tools > Import... > Configure Auto-Import, select each of the folders presented there, Edit, and remove Images from the file types.

Go to Images in the tree on the left.  Select all the images and hit Delete.  Use only the first option presented in the dialog.

In Tools > Options > General > Features there is Images Support.  You can uncheck that to disable Images features entirely.

Thanks for that info...I am still unclear about deleting in bulk the images and documents. If I go to the list on the left beginning with 'playing now', click 'images' I get the photo's....It will not let me 'select all' from edit and it will not let me delete all from a right click on the 'images' button???

When you switch to Images view, you'll see a list of files on the lower right section (the files list).  Click one of those, and then type Control-A or use Edit > Select All.  Then Delete.
