ID connections are inconsistent
« on: December 07, 2011, 05:24:23 pm »

I have been trying to use my ID regularly now and am having a lot of problems with it.  The ID is located about 15 feet from the access point and it has a good signal.  The access point shows that it is connecting with 100% signal on 802.11G.  Randomly the ID will just quit playing.  When it does I can logon to the ID itself so it is still running and connected via wireless.

When this occurs sometimes I can just hit play and the music will resume playing. The last time that this occured MC hung with a hour glass cursor when I clicked on the ID zone.  Task manager showed that MC was "Not Responding".  I killed MC with the task manager and restarted the MC service.  Now MC hangs with an hour glass cursor whenever I click on any zone.

Now MC is completely useable.   ?

Interesting...  MC was running on another PC on the network.  When I closed MC on that machine MC started working again on the server.

I am running 17.0.046 on both PCs.

The ID drops out like this on v16 too.  I hope there is a fix eventually; it's pretty annoying.
