can you make media jukebox buffer the songs better?
« on: May 18, 2002, 06:40:35 pm »

I love media jukebox except for one thing: as it buffers from one track to the next, sometimes the end of the song is cut off.  Is it possible to adjust this so that the whole song plays through before going to the next song in the playlist?

Hey Queen_Salmon24,

I'm not sure I totally understand what's happening, but you may want to play around with the MJ -> Options -> Playback settings.  Particularly, "Between Tracks Mode" and "Advanced -> Performance"

If you're listening to audio CD's, many drives aren't fast enough to make cross-fading feasible.

With local files, the "Performance" setting should do the trick.

Let us know...
