Every time when I am auto importing from my music folder to Media center I get the message after importing is done that: "Skipped 31 files previously deleted from library"
What is that meaning? How can I get rid of that?

It means you've deleted them from the library before, and they are listed in the Deleted database, and you have Ignore previously removed files set in your auto-import.

What would you like MC to do with the 31 files?  Re-import them?  Unset the option.  To continue to ignore them, move the files out from under a directory that MC is set to auto-import from.

So what can I do to get rid of this? I dont want to re.import them. And I dont know what files it is. I have
deleted a lot of files. I wish I could go to the library and just delete them. But I dont know how to identify them.

I there a way do to this?

auto import should give you "details" about these files including their location outside of MC.

You can create a smartlist that will show you the skipped files.

This one will also show you files JRiver considers bad:

[Media Type]=[Audio] ~d=br

That was the first I checked.

This is a different topic - a CD is *ripped*, and its tracks will become part of the Media Center library.

Import means to brings files that already exist in some folder into Media Center.  Both result in Media Center helping you to use and organize the files.

Your question is about files that were imported, but subsequently removed from Media Center.  But you have Media Center configured (either by default, or by your own doing) to automatically re-examine a folder tree for files - when it finds the same files you told it to remove from the library (but not permanently), it warns you.

Since you don't want those imported again, either you need to configure the auto-import directories to not traverse the specific folder tree, or you need to move the media files outside of the folder tree, or you need to delete the media files permanently.

Auto-import directories are configured:

  Tools > Import > Configure Auto-Import

I have set my auto import to check my entirely media library. D:\JRiver library\.......
There are a lot of subfolders and files.
It will be almost impossible to find the 31 files and delete them:-(
I guess I have to get use to that messenger about the 31 files popping up every time i rip new songs.

No, its easy to see which files are in the Removed database.  User "wig" gave you the way.

Create a new smartlist, enter exactly the expression that wig mentions, by clicking the Import/Export button and pasting the expression.  This will generate the list for you.

This took some time but now I am on it. I have try to create the smartlists above.
I have named them Skipped Files and Bad Files.
Skipped Files looks like this when I create it: [Media Type]=[Audio] ~d=r
But the list is empty.

Bad Files looks like this when I create it: [Media Type]=[Audio] ~d=br  BUT when I have clicked OK it looks like this:  Media Type]=[Audio] ~d=rb   NOTE the rb instead for br.
And also sometimes it looks like this:
[Media Type]=[Audio] ~d/=br"

This lists are empty as well.

Obviously I am doing something wrong. But what?
Can you help me? Am I on the right track or total out of the blue?

Remove the [Media Type]=Audio limiter.  Try instead the simplest smartlists:

Removed:

  ~d=r

Bad:

  ~d=b

I did like this: edit smartlist - import/export - And there deleted everything and then ~d=r       or ~d=b    Thats all.    Is that correct?

When I then click OK nothing comes up. The lists are empty.

If the smartlists look exactly like the attached (the Name can vary), and they are empty, then I don't see how you can get the message "Skipped 31 files previously deleted from library".  I believe it is the Removed database which maintains the list of files you have previously deleted so that MC can skip these upon import.

No space required.  You'll see if you add it, and then check the wizard, your screen matches the posted dialog.  You'll also note that when you go back into Import/Export, the leading whitespace is removed.  Just to be clear, don't add space before or after the only 4 characters ~d=r that should be entered.  Or just use the pull downs as shown.
