Hey guys,
a while ago i posted some skin bugs and wishes to improve the skin.
So here is a list of bugs that i detected, and suggestions how to improve the Standard skins.

Splitviewtab:
- command to set an image as background for the splitviewtab
- a new command for the Imagesize-slider => currently the slider_hb is used (buggy and to small)
- icon for a new tab => like the + icon at the firefox
- different colors of the HeaderText and the text below
  (f.e "Playlists" in white / "Create and organize playlists and smartlists" in black)

Tree:
- i think the tree would look nicer if the selected one is bold, and the rest has normal size -
  (a width-command for the selected one, and the nonselected)

ListButton:
- currently the selected file has the same "List_Button" image as the other ones, so the selected one is sometimes hard to see

Display:
- width-command for the "Display" to make it less wide
- command to set the position of the Repeat, Shuffle and DSp Button in our out of the Display

Misc:
- Shadow for all MediaCenter windows
- the Searchfield does not support transparency

- Heigh of the "Topborder" could be flexible to make it more slim - currently its about 100px
- OffsetXY command for all objects
- full support for transparent skins

15.08:
- separate icons for Back/Forward/Refresh in the SplitViewTab
- command to change the CurrentTextColor - coz its the same as the SelectedTextColor - or is it currently possible?
- Frameborder doesnt support transparency

thats it.
Hopefully some of these ideas will be realized soon. =)

I support the improvements. Especially the possibility to remove the bold text in the tree!

I'll appeal directly from this thread then and change the title....

Hi J River Team could you please add the ability within the view header tags to change the font colour of selected text, so that when one or more drop down panes have been selected the colour will stay the same.. This will help distinguish which panes are active and make the reset button needed less, for me anyway.. When I am browsing through my library I only normally use the reset button when for a moment I can't figure out which pane is active..

I'm for this changes or better a revamp of the skin itself, because what you can do with the skin and elements inside of it, is pretty limited, and you can't do too much.
What i can say more is, maverick pretty cover everything from a point of design what flows have the skin of MC.
