any suggestions why this would be
what have i stuffed up ?

have tested with that microsoft product & are ok

Try reinstalling the latest build.  I don't know what the problem could be.

have done this applies to stuff on computer and to dvd's as well
i have reinstalled latest build

i expect there is some setting that isn't quite right - anyone with a useful comment ?
although porn on "fast forward" is even more interesting

Is it possible you ripped 50fps movie(s) to 60FPS by mistake?

out of curiosity installed version 15.0.174 and it works perfectly

17.0.68 not !

Set it to Red October Standard and playback (File Types) automatic.

must have had some garbage on computer that was causing the problem
reformatted and now perfect
