The simplest DLNA question
« on: November 15, 2011, 08:30:29 pm »

I just bought j.river.  I had been using Windows Media Player, which is so simple - all i had to do right click on a song and click on "Play To:  Sony Blu Ray".  I can't seem to do that with j.river.   I AM able to pull up my songs on the BluRay player and play them from there, but it's a complicated process.  When I click "Send To:  Blu Ray Player" in j.river, I get "Problem controlling the selected DLNA device".  As advanced as j.river is, it's got to be something I'm doing wrong.

Can I please get some help?  Seems like an odd "Help" section, but I'm hoping for an answer.  :)

I got it.  It was very simple.  I can't believe this is the only help available for j.river.

The world has changed. We don't call an operator or use a phone book to get a telephone number anymore.  We don't use an encyclopedia.  We use a search.

JRiver's wiki and forum have search features.

Often a Google search for [your term here] and yabb.jriver.com will work better.

Trying things is sometimes faster.
