Old dumb question / failed opening wav file

I had this fixed once. It's back.  :-[
Media JB 8.0.318
Win XP

Recording on line in from tape player. Records ok but pops up this alert.

I checked and yes I have a c:\music\temp directory made and set up correctly in the options file locations.

Install the 396 build and see if that helps. Do you have XP SP1 installed?
