I use the converter function in Media Center 17 to split FLAC files using the cue sheet into separate track files. I wondered, does the converter re-encode the file during this process or simply split the file? In MC17, I now get an additional copy of the original long FLAC file after the conversion process, something that didn't happen in MC16. Is that by design?
