Playdoctor playlist unexpectedly adding entries
« on: January 29, 2012, 03:12:19 pm »

Media center version 17.0.75
Platform: WinXPpro SP3.

I had generated an autoplaylist with Playlist Doctor in the morning. (Much) later on I noticed that the playlist was still going strong, with the player showing 101/200. As I watched, it switched to a new track, and incremented BOTH current tracks counter AND total tracks. And yes, it really had added another random track to the end.

OK so no biggie or show stopper.  If anything vaguely amusing, but it does need to go onto the list of minor bugs, I think.  I did capture a log a couple of switches later, which you can have if you require.

The Doctor continually prescribes a new drug.

Yes, this is how Play Doctor works.  And the doctor even learns based on your plays and skips so that the songs it adds to the end should match what you're looking for even better.

This is a feature that was requested by many myself included shortly after the Doctor was first introduced. If you want a list of just 100 songs there is a default smartlist called 100 Random Songs that you can use/modify to your liking.
