E-mail announcements recieved several times repeatedly

When there are new MC versions, JRiver sends me announcements by e-mail. Great service. However I receive the same e-mail 3 times in row with a few minutes interval. My provider considers this as spam and blocks them. I noticed it when I looked at my spam box at my providers server which contained loads of repeated e-mail from listserver.jriver.com

Please have a look a this, one announcement suffice and I hopefully receive you e-mails properly and in time!

1 out of 2 appeared in Google App's spam folder for me.

Hmmm... I got it twice, but only once for each account I have registered.  The one that I got at my Google account did not go to the spam folder.

Ok. Thank you, but that doesn't help.

I got it 3 times from mediacenter@jriver.com as sender, 2 times with mlist at listserver jriver com as the return address and 1 time with forum at listserver jriver com I registered MC once many years ago and this behaviour started last year.

Please don't list e-mail addresses on the forum.  I modified them.  They attract spammers.

Usually if you get several messages, it's because you've used more than one address when you downloaded or registered for the forum.

Pjotr, are you certain that you don't have two aliases going into the same account (like a forward from some old email account to the new one)? It's not possible for the same name to be on the mlist twice. Also, I thought the mlist address were pulled out of the forum list before sending however I will double check on it. Thanks for reporting this!

@jimh - recommendation - munge/remove the domain portion of the posted email address. This will reduce the number of pointless SMTP connections on the mail server.

The second one came 15 mins later and both went straight to the Outlook Junk folder.
Like every jriver mail I received the last 12 months or more.
At the very least Outllook isn't jriver friendly for whatever reasons

Same here, except I got it twice from "mlist". All were send to the same e-mail address (not to aliases).

Tracking down the headers: One of the headers mentioned also mediajukebox, which explains I got it twice from  "mlist". In the very past I started out with Media Jukebox and soon upgraded to the full MC version.

Hmmpf, as I see the addressee listed is not standard my e-mail address but some other server. It appears that the mailing goes forwarded through various servers This behaviour is considered spam/scam by many providers (and probably Outlook, but I don't use that).
