How do I install MJ 8 for multiple users on W2K?
« on: March 16, 2003, 09:19:08 am »

What is the proper way to install MJ 8 for multiple users on a Win2K PC? I want all users to share the same copy of the program and the same library.

You have to log in and install in the same location for every user :(.

OK. That's too bad. My kid's accounts do not have install privileges, so I'll have to deal with that.

Thanks for the quick answer!  :)

My question is somewhat simular so I thought I'd post here.

I am using MJ8 and have a small network.  All the clients are Win98SE.  My music files (mp3's & wma's) are on a server.  We use roaming profiles.

How do I allow each user to access MJ8 and the music files?  I have successfully loaded MJ8 under one username's name and all is good, yet when I either make a shortcut that points to the already installed MJ8 or when I install for a new user the program opens up (somewhat) but many fields are blacked-out and I can't do anything with it.  I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to close MJ8.

Any help would be appreciated..
