... I was made to understand why I couldn't play WTV files from my MC Client connected to Library Server (but .TS files worked). The reason was that WTV files couldn't be transcoded by MC. And, after some configuration changes, I was able to make WTV files work as well by avoiding the transcoding altogether.

Great. But now I'm thoroughly confused, because using Gizmo, I can play WTV files on my phone from anywhere. So, Gizmo can transcode WTV files, but MC Client can't? (Not to mention I thought transcoding happened on the server end, so I'm even more confused). What's going on here that lets Gizmo magically work? Why can't it also work with MC Client?
