Missing tracks
« on: February 25, 2012, 05:58:17 pm »

I use MC in a HiFi-setup, where the computer is fed by a network server, a NAS. The NAS holds my FLAC ripped CD collection. I play the music over a hardwired connection. My problems is that many albums are missing one or several tracks. The tracks are on the server, so the problom is MC do not show them, they do not apear in MC. If I use foobar2000 this problem do not occur, the albums are complete. Why are the albums incomplete, and what o do about it? Can anyone help me?

They may have a typo in the artist or album name.  You can search for the tracks in MC to see if they are there with a different album or artist, then edit the tag.

No, this do not help. I do not find any of the missing tracks when searching for them. Fact is there is rather many tracks missing in diffrent albums.

This is very frustrating.

If they aren't there, then they didn't get imported.

Maybe they are a different file type, or they are in a different directory.

See the link called "Getting Started" in my signature for more about importing.
