So, I'm not sure if this is more of a Windows issue than anything, but I thought I'd give it a shot here.
Any file that MC17 is set to play by default is showing the "icon not found" image (if there's a name for it, I'm not sure haha). I tried rebuilding the IconCache and also changing the default program to something else and then back, and that doesn't fix it. When the default program was changed, the files did show the icon for that program, for what it's worth. Not sure what to even try.
