DSP Room Correction or AVR Room Correction?
« on: March 05, 2012, 02:20:32 pm »

I've read that the DSP room correction in 17 is pretty good from what I gather, but would it have any advantage over using the one in the AVR? In my case I have the Onkyo SR-507 which has Audyssey so currently I have used it for the initial room correction. Currently I am having MC decode the audio and sending it to the AVR as LPCM and so far is working pretty well. But I was wondering if its worth trying the MC version of the room correction, or just staying with the one on the AVR.
