Video data for Dimension is wrong
« on: March 10, 2012, 07:19:43 am »

Looking through my movie collection I see there are several movies showing the "dimensions" of 704 x 480. I checked with the program MediaInfo and it shows the dimensions as 720 x480 (what I expected to see). I tried to edit this information but it is no editable.
Does this wrong data effect MC (playback, etc.) in any way?

Where does MC pickup this data? The movies with this "wrong" dimension data are all DVDs (ripped to Video_TS).

Try Updating library from tags (test with one movie).

There was a dimensions bug earlier in MC17 that required this.

Tried that. Nothing changed.
I think I will try and delete one file from MC and then reimport and see if that does anything.

Also interesting, I have one Music-Video (Eric Clapton Unplugged) where the dimension is listed as 352 x 480, but MediaInfo syas it is 704 x 480 (and all my 704x480 tags should be 720x480 according to MediaInfo).

Thanks.
