Question mark in Display when scrolling required

When the display isn't wide enough to display playing info, I get the ? character after every "scroll cycle". Happens both in Standard/Mini views and both in Title/Status.
If I'm playing "Album-Artist-LongTrackname" and the MC window is wide enough, it'll display it ok. If auto-scrolling is required to display everything, the result is:
"Album-Artist-LongTrackname"  ? [scrolling]  "Album-Artist-LongTrackname" ?  etc.

Another minor issue is that the auto-scrolling is only enabled when the mouse pointer hovers over the display. It'd be nice to have some auto-scrolling options (on/off, speed, fade instead of scrolling).
