UTF-8 and UTF-16 are fully supported.

Make sure the font you have selected in Options > Video > Subtitles supports the characters.

thk,

any chans MC can read most of the SUB format? instead to be busy with conversions?

1. how to change the SUB color?

2. maybe you can add auto plugin that download the subtitles automatically? (like other players)

.SUB is MicroDVD, and Media Center should support it fully.

If you have .SUB files that do not work, please email a copy to logs at jriver dot com.

Thanks.
