Hi all,

I assume that others may have had this problem in the past.
Albums that your originally ripped in mp3, but now have in flac, but want to keep the mp3 for easy playpack on other devices.

How do I remove or at least highlight/find duplicate albums so that I can remove them from the JRiver’s library?

Does this does require a simple "bump", or a slight re-explanation?

Instead of using ~dup=[File Size],[Name], do something like ~dup=[Artist],[Album]

I use stacks for multiple qualities so only the higher quality file is visible when stacks are collapsed.
To find all duplicates you can create a smartlist to show duplicates.
Here is what I use [Media Type]=[Audio] ~dup=[Name],[Album],[Track #] ~sort=[Artist],[Name]

Note: Once stacks are setup the smartlist will only find duplicates that are stacked if they are expanded.

That worked nicely and then I used the stack approach where I still wanted to keep both versions.

Can you search for stacked files?

The following expression can be used to find all stacked files in the database:

isequal([Stack Top],-1) ~d=a

Thanks - I could not get that expression to work, but I used the alternative from the thread pointed to by that wiki
