Hiya,
try creating a view scheme that has Year as the first section.
ie: Year/Genre/Artist
If you have any songs with 0 as the year (ie they weren't set originally) then it is acting wierd and creating sections of numbers that make no sense as to their origin.

If you put [img= and ] around your image urls, then it'll show up as a picture.
Putting a \ before a url will make it a live link as well.

Are you using any kind of Search Criteria for that View? What are the exact Criteria you've set up? Just Year\Genre\Artist? Because if I set that up, I get exactly what I'd expect, with years of 0 showing up as (unassigned).

I'm just doing exactly as I posted.
If u look at the screen shot you can see the year is set to 0 but the tree is showing something else.

If u cant reproduce this I can send u a few of the mp3's that it's messing up with in case it's the files that are wierd.
I could also test any debugging u need to do to work it out.

Try selecting all of the files with year 0 and then delete the year, then save them all.
