"the left hand side tree"
« on: April 23, 2012, 05:04:33 am »

 :o :o

may i ask a stupid question ??
can the left hand side tree including the tagging window be shifted.
i think it would be more logical [don't ask me why] if it was on the right hand side

I got rid of some things off the tree I would like back.  I think some of those I deleted (and not just unchecked certain boxes). Is there any way to get back the default setting so I can have another go. Or does it require a reinstall? TIA

Some things such as views you can recreate manually.  You can create a new blank library to use as a reference.  How extensive was your thrashing? :-)

For some reason I got rid of Albums, All albums, Panes. They are the main ones I would welcome back.

Right-click Audio to create the new views via Add Library View...

Select the Albums image to create the Albums view you lost.
Do likewise to create the Panes view, selecting the Panes (genre, artist, album).

"All albums" is just the Albums tree expanded; its the first entry.

By the way, in another thread, it was mentioned that there is also:

View > Add View > Reset All Views To Default

Proceed w/caution.
