Simply playback question

If I set two different softwares, say J River and Foobar2000, to wasapi and the same bit depth with no additional processing they'll produce exactly the same result - right? I'm only just opened my eyes to thinking about the quality of digital audio, so I'm still wrapping my head around it.

All other things being equal, yes.

In MC, use "WASAPI Event Style".  I believe foobar calls it just "WASAPI".

I think Foobar only does push-style WASAPI (please correct me if I'm wrong).

WASAPI Event style is better when it's supported (for reasons other than sound quality).  More here:
