Problem with Rip DVD data lookup
« on: May 07, 2012, 10:08:17 am »

Ok, I mainly use MC 17 to play music in my dedicated listening room with a laptop. Now I have setup a dedicated desktop to play just movies for the family rm. I have ripped 3 DVDs out of them MC 17 was able to find data for Gladiater. The other 2 DVDs were Iron Man and Narnia which it was unable to locate and info or cover art.  Is this whats to be expected 1/3 have data and the rest I have to manually enter in? If this is the case I may go back to my DVD player.  ?

The issue I find with this is it list incorrect title and I have to insert correct title and then tell it to search which that works. Strange...

Can't rip "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" but I can play it.  Whats up with that? OS is Vista.

Ok, now I tried ripping "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" on another PC and it still failed to rip. It starts to rip and 1min. it stops and errors out. Are some of these DVD copy protected to not allow ripping to PC?
