« on: May 08, 2012, 12:42:45 pm »

If I stop the movie, it brings me bal to MC. If I click play again on the same movie it starts where I left off.  Can I change it so it starts a the very beginnning of the movie?

The "auto-resume" feature of MC is called "Bookmarking".  There are lots of ways that you can enable/disable Bookmarking on video files (or groups of files) based on the tags that you apply.  Search the forum for Bookmarking and you should find a whole wealth of information.

The main tag you want to look at is the [Use Bookmarking] tag.  When set to the default setting, then MC decides whether to use Bookmarking based on mainly the [Media Sub Type] tag.

There is also a setting in Options that determines what JRiver does with the bookmark tag. Under Tools > Options > General > Behavior is a setting called "Resume playback using bookmarks." The default is automatic, but you can change it to "Never" or "Ask."
